Astronomers have figured out how to find invisible mirror stars in our galaxy

An entire universe made of “dark” particles may lie within our own, and scientists have a hunch about where to start looking for it. According to a publication in the arXiv preprint library, answers may be found in the mysterious hearts of so-called “mirror stars.”

It is noted that the mirror universe can be absolutely anywhere, being completely invisible to us. In the course of their research, scientists have found that mirror stars, in turn, can make themselves visible, but at the same time they will be visually different from everything that could be hitherto detected in the universe.

According to scientists, the formation of such stars occurs when different types of dark matter interact, lose energy and crumple. The corresponding process should occur by analogy with the formation of ordinary stars in our Universe, but the interaction between mirror stars would occur through their own forces of nature, and they would emit radiation in the form of invisible to us dark photons.
